You have some very beautiful fish in there!:D I noticed a German blue ram (Microgeophagus ramirezi) and a Synodontis eupterus, among others. I have two questions: Does the S. eupterus ever hassle the discus? What's the deal with the potted plants? Not that they don't look nice; I've just never seen a tank like that and was curious about the reasons for it.

So far the discus haven't been bothered by any odd fish in there. (The odd fish are because all the others died over time and I just decided to put them in this tank for now at least.... Many have been in there for over a year.)

The pots are an attempt to make my life much easier. Anything that is on the ground just gets siphoned out when tank cleaning. (I have over 1250 gallons of tanks so cleaning sand quickly becomes a pain.)
