Ive never had chest pain per say, but the closest thing would be when i sometimes drink citric juices and get acid reflux, thats horrible.
 
my buddy has acid reflex disease he eats rolaids like there candy. I just dont know whats causing it. I just had an EKG done a few months ago and everything was perfectly fine.. Im gunna throw some more pics of my tank up in a sec before I go to bed. Its really getting clear now :)
 
The glass lids may be permanently etched and cloudy looking. They tend to get that way after a few years.

Make sure you either know the brand tank you have or measure the openings before buying new glass lids. Different tank brand lids don't fit each others tanks.
 
I just put the palm trees in that were from my 55g to get some of the bb off of it into the tank too. While Im at the store I might look for some of that bb start up stuff if I can get it in a small bottle for cheap. since Im looking at a load of money just for the fish im going to be puttin in lol.

I dont know what kind of filter pads youre using on the emperor but if youre using the marineland standard ones you might want to change them. I just got an aquaclear 110.... I have it on one side of the tank, and a penguin 350(smaller emperor 400) on the other side.

The penguin 350 is dropping particles in the water while the aquaclears side is particle free...

I will probably head tomorrow to petsmart and get some of the ac 110 mech filtration and use it on the penguin/emperor.
 
ah lol, Mines doing fine, I plan on taking out the aquatech after a week or so and just let the 400 and 2217 run
