Been reading on here for a few years, thanks to all of you I got the right information on building my 155 I picked up complete including a sump system for $200 from a friend. Granted I ended up using almost all new stuff like LED lights, in line heaters and ect. The old stand swayed when it was full I've had 10 and 45 gallons since 1995 and finally stepped up to a monster tank. My wife said I can have the tank as long as it was nice and matched the house. Well I completely hand built a full enclosure and now it's the centerpiece of the house. I built everything including the doors. Has a rena xp3 and a fluval 404 canisters (saving the sump system of a salt set up), 2 300 watt inline heaters, 2 800 GPH power heads and a 36 watt UV sterilizer. I ended up buying pea gravel and washing it myself for the substrates. My Green spotted puffer, 18 african cichlids, and giant red shoulder are all happy. Water parameters are perfect.
