Ok well i finally finished setting up my 180 gallon.

First, we had to strengthen the floor because my floor bounces whenever you walk on it. So my dad and i cut open a hole in the floor. We added some 2x6's and two 16" x 16" x 24" deep cement pillars. Heres the pics:

Next we laid down the plywood and the cement board. Then we put down the tile. More pics:

I cut the eggcrate to size and put it in the tank:

Then I bought 120 pounds of lace rock. Here's the rock structure and the first layer of sand:

Were on a new server and some posts and threads got lost.

Like a posted before, the tank looks really good. Do you have a list of tangs you are going to put in there yet.

oh

ok well i was thinking:
5-Altolamprologus compressiceps or calvus
5-Neolamprologus caudopunctatus
5-neolaprologus Marunguensis
5-Neolamprologus leleupi
5-Synodontis Petricola
5-Julidochromis transcriptus
4-Cyathopharynx furcifer
3-Tropheus Moori
5-dwarf bristlenose
12-Cyprichromis leptosoma "Utinta"
12-Paracyprichromis Nigripinnis

if you have any suggestions please name them

Thats a good list but I would skip the tropheus. I love them but in that kind of tank, with those occupants, they are going to be the tank bullys and harrass everyone to no end.

If you want tropheus it is best to go all or nothing.

Are those DIY filters? If so do you have a link that would help someone else build one?

Tank looks awesome btw!
