I have one baby f1 peru O. Whether he goes in there depends on compatibility. that'd be nice, but...
Here's what I'm mulling & debating amongst:
I like bold personality fish such as trimac or lyonsi. (hi quality females would be OK, to minimize aggression) The striking yellow w/red eyes is all a plus.
These would be my first, I've only watched them.
How do females' ppl-interaction compare with males?
Psitticus are to-die-for, but one pair is a handful. I suspect that a single would view my O's color as too similar. I'm not sure what could mix. TBH, I'm not getting lots of thrills from my 75 geo tank. I mostly enjoy the heckelii personality, and redheads while spawning.

There's several things of interest (biotapes, species only tanks, breeding etc..) but--> where's the SPACE? LOL.
For this tank, I'm thinking of fish that'll POP & also be enjoyed by family.
I want it to be plenty spacious for the fish.
Oh, and I know it's a whole different theme, but also want to try polleni. I don't know why they didn't originate from the americas, they seem like they should have! SO pretty, & full of personality.
yes, I'm all over the map, and hopeless!

and last but not least..... love to keep a lone buttikoferi. They are mean, smart, and can live forEVER. so I guess require dedication!
