a while back i posted my 180 gallon african tank. Now, a few months later, i have added much new rock, re aquascaped it a bit, changed the filtration and drastically changed the fish stocking it. Here she is.......enjoy

http://web.mac.com/cdmx88/iWeb/Site/african.html

Filtration: Fluval 404, Eheim 2217, Fluval FX5, Penguin 400.
Mantainence: on average, a 25% water change weekly
Feeding: used to feed frozen almost every day but now im trying flake/pellet 4 days, frozen 3 days, once a day.
Fish: I know im going to be leaving some out simply because many of these came from mixed batches of haps and i have identified them all but left my book with all my notes(back to nature: malawi cichlids) at work.
7 Mpmibwe Blue fronts (4 are defenite f1 mpimbe while i took a chance on 3 that are supposed to be the same but one seems more like a buruni)
4 Ndiwe Fire Blues
1 Taiwan Reef Albino
2 Calvus (1 goldhead, 1 black n.)
1 Venestus
1 VC-10
2 victorian red back haps
1 Rock krib
5 Notatania (4 tiny 3" ones, 1 7" male)
1 unkown (thinking a lethrinops sp)
1 Promeleus sp. (spelling is off.....by alot)
1 Lithobates yellow blaze
1 kenyi
1 exochromis[/img]
1 Flavescent Yellow Peacock
3 C. Morii
1 red jewel
2 red empress (small, about 3")
2 Oxyrinthus (small, about 3")
1 Big synodontis eupterus
1 gorgeous king tiger pleco
1 Clown loach (used to be 5 but the polypterus ate them... he's been relocated since that)
i may have left someone out but thats all i remember off hand, it should be everyone but who knows .

the 4 big mpimbwes are the original fish from when i started the tank which came from a guaranteed f1 mpibwe batch from a local breeder (raised from 2.5", 3") and then about 6 months ago i added 3 more small 3" guys which came from an online seller (I couldnt find any over 2" locally) and im not sure as to the genuity of their pedigree and as i said one looks more like a burundi which i am very not happy about.... I plan on taking 2 or 3 males out as they grow larger.

Any questions or comments are welcome and appreciated

I love the way your tank looks...I would do anything to have your tank.
