My 1st 2 Crenicihla lenticulatas!

Just arrived this morning. I have been wanting them forever. Bigger than I thought they would be, but 2 small to differentiate the sex. I asked them to send me the smallest and the biggest of the group. They were shipped in same bag, with no evidence of any fighting. After acclimation, they are hanging out side by side and defending together simultaneously and the other cichlids investigate. I'm really digging the heart shaped spots on top of some of the vertical bars. This will help with the girlfriend...

Ordered the from PetZone in San Diego, ordered at 4pm yesterday their time and received them 10am today. Price was right too. Dan Ye at American Cichlids has nice pikes too!

Noice! I was thinking bout ordering from them, but have been holding off since I've already got some. Congrats! For those prices though you should have gotten three or four!

Post some more pictures of them, they aren't too young to be sexed. I was able to sex mine at about 5" to 6", pretty sure those are at least that.

Again, congrats!!! They are definitely a pike in their own class of awesomeness!

Just curious, how much was shipping on those two for you? I'm thinking about ordering a trio, and since I live in Ky, it should be similar cost...

about 70 overnight from petzone, but I just got 4 more pairs of pikes from dan ye at american cichlids and it was only 35 a box on southwest cargo same day too.
