I finally got a dat and it was only $6 its about 1" and im wondering what type he is i have him in a 10Gallon all by himself! I'm so excited still my raphiodon vulpinnis and small H. Scomb just died so this is a cheer up present to myself! im on my way to get him some brineshrimp cause my local LFS said that it was on small feeders and flakes so im going to try and get him on frozen brineshrimp and massivore pellets! and i'm makin sure is 78F a good temp for him?

but one more question when i seen him at my LFS he was alot more silver in color and i was just thinking he was stressed but is there still a chance hes something other than indo or is that a positive id for sure?

Nice IT.
I'd bump the temp up about 4 degrees to 82 and suggest that you get some small 1mm pellets for him so he can grow quicker.
I have 15 lil guys like this and a handful of them eat pellets and the rest eat bloodworms, brineshrimp and shrimp. The ones that eat the pellets are already a half of an inch bigger then the ones that don't.

Awesome deal.
Any pellet that has a good protien percentage is good.
Just grab all the ones that are 1mm and take a good look at the percentage.

Great deal indeed.

feed it frozen for a couple weeks and than get some sinking carnivore, massivore, and cichlid gold and marinate them in the frozen food juice. Than throw the pellets in and wait. It is better to get him on pellets now so he can grow fast. Also, they are stubborn when larger. That is a Indonesian datnoid and a stable one at that!!

Good luck and you got an awesome deal!!!

IT. Very Nice.

Good deal ;)
