My 1st pikes

I picked up these two the other day. They are in a 55 w/ a pair of honduran redpoints. Cool little fish that don't seem to be afraid of anything.Anyone have an idea about their sexes? I'm thinking the first pic is male - more aggressive, more color. 2nd pic female?

Also, how much $ do these guys go for typically?

Second pic is a lot more clear than the first. But it is a nice pike. I'm sure PP or one of the other pike guys will be able to help you out.

They`re compressiceps for sure. Can`t really tell by pics what sex they are. It`s always better to start out with more than two if you`re trying to pair them up. Right now Ken (fishfarm) has them for $8, or 10 for $65. Good luck with them. HTH.......Keith

Thanks. I couldn't pass them up when I saw them.

The skinny one in the 2nd picture is a picky eater. Hopefully that changes once they really settle in. Right now they eat earthworms and freeze dried blood worms. What should I be feeding them?
