Title says it all, it's been up and running for about I'm going to say about 8 months? It's not the most perfectly manicured scape in the world but I'm kind of fond of the unkept jungle theme.

No ferts, small HOTB filter, small unadjustable heater that keeps it at a steady 24oC. Needs a clean in this photo, but I was just laying in bed and thought I'd throw up a quick post.

This pic was about a month or so ago, not much has changed except the addition of a very small group of endlers to provide a bit of waste for the plants.

EDIT: light is a cheap LED 3 setting from one of the local shops.

Awesome for a low tech tank!

Looks great I’m surprised the dwarf baby tears took off so well without any Co2 or ferts.

Me as well! It was a bit of a gamble that paid off. Whilst I'm sure with the extra help they would have carpeted twice as quickly, they're to the stage where a friend has been inspired to start off a similar tank and I have enough to seed his tank as well.

I did provide a hell of a lot of light time up until recently that I've dialled back (put on a timer) as I was noticing just a wee bit too much of green hair algae growth that I would have preferred to have done without.

I recently had to do a bit of a re-scape as things were starting to look a bit crowded. I think I preferred how it looked before as the moss is starting to take over the wood (just dead gum tree roots) and hide the dwarf java a bit much but I think I'll keep everything just at the moment as there's a part of me that's thinking about setting up another nano soon and free plants are good plants. I'll go get a pic now. Feel free to hit me with suggestions...
