Beautiful looking sp. 'venezuela'!!! Normally they are mislabed as strigata. Finding true strigata is a treat, as they are generally less common and more attractive as adults!

how can you tell the difference between the two?

Looks like my old Venezuela when he was a little guy. I bought him labeled as Strigata too. Be prepared for a very fast growing glutton! They are great fish.
