I stopped by at Petco on my way home last week and saw these two baby angelfish in one of the tanks, there was only two, and they were kept in a community tank with other, larger fish. The more I looked at them, the more I wanted to get them, luckily they were on sale(probably because they were already so beat up) for 1.39 each, so I thought I should at least give them a chance to recover and make it.

They are about one inch from tip of nose to tail. I'm pretty sure that they are wild type scalare angelfish, although now one of them I developing another stripe in between the other black stripes. I am treating the water with anti-fungal medication and Im feeding them crushed cichlid crisps, powdered spirulina wafers and some freeze dried bloodworms. I hope that they will make it. I read a lot of information stating that angelfish are hard to keep... so any tips and suggestions are most welcome,
thanks for looking
