My 2 biggest tanks. For now

My biggest tank is a 140 48x24x30
Filtration is a Fluval 404, Biowheel 350 and a breeder sponge powered by a wisper 100. 50% water change once a week.
Stock is
Peacockbass mono 9"
Blood parrot 5"
Red bay snook 6"
Jaguar cichlid 7"
Pike cichlid 7"
Red tail catfish 10"
Raphael catfish 4"
Uknown pleco 3"
3 common pleco 2 are 12"
1 is 6"

My 2nd largest tank is a 90g 48x 19x 21
Filtration is a Rena Xp 2
50% water change a week.
Stock is a breeding pair of tiger oscars. Both are about 11-12"

What do you guys think? Bigger tank for my RTC and Peacock bass are in the works.

looks good man, love little red tails so cute when they are small! Jags got a sweet pattern on him too.

only thing flying over my brain was the tank size but as you mentioned its under control, look forward to watching the little man grow please keep it updated :)
 
I think you really should of stayed away from getting a RTC and the p-bass.

Not many people can afford a 500+ gallon tank and that's maybe even to small for one of these cats.

If you just had 1 smaller pleco your tank would be okay. But in my opinion your gonna be looking to upgrade ASAP. And then once your RTC gets bigger....

I agree, you do need thousands of gallons for the beast, even people here get into arguments just to say the 'minimum' size of the footprint, but over all dude, :thumbsup:
 
I have a 9ftx4ft x X space to work with. Wil 99% be plywood diy unless a kijiji deal pops up. Thanks guys.
If thats not big enough then i guess im a bad fish keeper :p

Nice

The angle of the first tank(140)/pic makes it look only 18 inches deep but the other picture shows the depth better
