I guess bluegrass aquatics is buying rt from petsmart and selling them on his site for 22 bucks. I wish there was something that could be done to people who put a picture of a fish on there site and send you something else.
My experience with blue grass was nothing but pleasant when I was keeping and ordering Africans from them. With that said, I'd be pretty pissed if I paid for something that wasn't delivered, that's false advertisement and there are laws against that.

Nah he gets them from Segrest Farms if I'm not mistaken which is where Petsmart's come from.
that's why i don't like paying for anything when it comes to a fish, unless I can see it with my own eyes and take it home with me. There are trustworthy people out there. honestly if it turns out like some of the pks i saw on the petsmart thread, i think 22 is worth it.
Sorry man. If its a certain hybrid you are after I would stick with breeders and sellers that specialize in hybrids. There are online vendors that currently have rt here in the states (aqua craze - flowerhorns from beyond is one off the top of my head) cheaper too I think they were $15 per piece.
Odds are if you are getting hybrids from a dealer that does not specialize in them you are getting something considered low quality as they are not working to refine their strains and they sell every fish rather than culling out low quality ones. Not saying they are all bad fish but I would stick with a dedicated hybrid distributor.

Its not even a matter of a low quality specimen, but a completely different "specie", granted its a hybrid.
But I completely agree with you as far as getting a hard to find hybrid from a dealer/breeder that specializes in them.
