The albino is about 5" and the normal about 6". I've got them growing out in a 20g long, but they'll be going into a 40g breeder sometime within the next month.

The Black Neons are there to be cheap live food. The Petsmart by me has all tetras on sale for $1 each, so I stopped into to grab some Neons but noticed the Black Neons were quite a bit bigger. I'll probably get more once Petsmart restocks.

My future stocking plans include adding a Delhezi or two, a long-finned Sen (preferably not albino), and a Platinum Sen.

nice fish. i would be tempted to turn the heater so its vertical so as not to give the birchirs a sunbed to lie on so to speak! what is the plant on the right btw???

The heater setup is not ideal. There is a Fluval E series on top and a Visitherm Stealth on bottom.

Because the Fluval needs water movement or else the temperature readout flashes a low flow warning. The tank doesn't have much water movement since i'm using a sponge filter with an air pump instead of a powerhead (something i need to fx).

The bottom heater creates just enough convection that the annoying flashing doesn't happen. Like I said, not ideal. I do plan on fixing it soon.

I will post pics of plants and name them soon.

Also, when I went to sleep last night I had 8 Black Neons left. When I got up this morning I had 5.

First pic is a bad FTS.

The next three pics are of a stem plant with green leaves that turn pink given enough light. This plant was bought over 5 years ago, and I have no clue what it's called. Only the first pic was taken in the grow out tank.

Next up we have another unknown stem plant followed by the plant the cutting came from.

Finally, Anubias nana on driftwood.
