excuse the mess in the tank. i never finished setting up since my move. next week it's going from cinder blocks to a pallet rack and i'm gonna get it looking all cherry.

i have eight 7-13" mpimbwe frontosa and five 2-5" mobas. when the mobas get big enough to spawn the mpimbwes will have to go. either to their own tank or i'll sell em. haven't decided yet although another 240 sounds nice :naughty:

one of my mpimbwes with a moba juvie in the background:

one of my mpimbwes holding (it's been about 14 days now and she has about 15 little ones in her jaws):

can't wait to get it all set up the way i want it. soon soon. pictures will be up asap and with a nice camera. I have 160 lbs of black moon sand waiting along with some sweet smooth rocks i've been collecting.

so what do you guys think?

Thanks jim. I'm awfully fond of em myself :)

And tamzor my largest mpimbwe is my 4 year old alpha male at about 13" and the smallest is a 6 year old wild caught 7" female.

My largest moba is 5". I think it's a female. The other four are between 2.5 and 3.5" from richard aka tr6. They're about 8 months old I believe.

Correction my wild caught female mpimbwe has been in a tank for 6 years. God only knows how long she was in the lake :)

Forgot to snap a pic of my two kissing guaramis. I have one that's about 5" and then a huge 10"er. I love the contrast between their solid white and the the blue/black bars of the frontosa. Also they swim predominately at the surface so they're good dither fish and excellent tank cleaners with those big ol extendable lips.

very nice fronts i like your tank dude!

Thanks options. I like ur avatar lol.

I've had this tank for awhile and been on the forum for almost a year and have never posted any pics (mainly cause I don't have a camera) so I thought it was time to throw so out and get some love :) I can't wait to get it all done up so it can look like some of the gorgeous tanks I've seen on here.

any recommendations on the best method for painting the back acrylic black? any aersol can?
