Ok so I decided to go with a leopard gecko viv
for a substrate which is probobly the hardest part to decide since every kind has its pros and cons I will be going for a natural habitat of peices of slated or sandstone with sand to fill in the gaps
and I will have 3 hide outs, 2 dry and one moist
Im going to get a heat bulb and decorate with wood, rock and silk plants
I would realy like this to be very natural to make the leos confortable!
any suggestions and comments would be realy appreciated!
I plan on to keep 2 females and eventually a male to breed

Is it a long or tall tank? If tall I would suggest adding a second story if possible since they need more ground space then height space.

Also you didn't mention a heat mat. Get one if you weren't planning on buying one. It is more important then a basking light even though the light is nice to heat the whole aquarium. Don't put any of the hides directly underneath the light just in case it may cook your leo.
