I have a 75 gallon with three 5 inch his Dempseys and 2 8 inch Oscars
And an unoccupied 55 gallon

That's WAY too small man

A 28" fish in a 14" wide tank is pretty cruel. Get it at least a 180

Hendre, the OP didn't ask us to judge his tank size.

Standard 55 gal is 12" wide on the outside.
