My 300 (48x48x30)

I got a 300 gallon tank a couple of weeks ago, I've been trying to get all the plumbing together when I realized the stand that it came with wasn't big enough for my monstrous sump (Oceanic Trickle Filter Model 250). Here's the sump inside the stand you can see it's almost to the top which leaves no room for me to get under it and do any plumbing. It also left no room for me to put my fx5 inside the stand either.

I will make the stand all pretty and stuff once I move into my new house in a couple of months. The tank is now full of water and my marble motoro's seem to be enjoying it nicely. I'll get some pics of the tank when I get back home.

Good job adding the crossbrace through the middle. Sorry if I didn't catch it but is the tank glass or acrylic? Do you like the 30" height? Two of my tanks are that high and I can barely reach the bottom lol..

It's acrylic, I love the 30". This tank and my 225 are both 30". I don't have a problem reaching the bottom in the 225, but this stand being so tall I need a step stool to even reach the top, lol.

I have to use a stool too lol.. My 220 and my 300 are 30" tall with 36" stands so I don't "stand" a chance without my ladder thingy. Where you at with the pics? I would love to see your moto's and sump set up and running.

Honestly, my ex just asked me to spend the night, so I may not make it home tonight, lol... I will get them up asap though.
