i just recently did a 25% water change and all of my 4 calvus died but that was all that died. my 3 tropheus are fine as well as my 2 emperors and 4 frontosa. are calvus very sensitive? or what may have caused them and only them to die?

Rough day! I'm sorry! I don't have the answer to this, but as I have recently become a proud calvus owner myself, I would very much like to hear everyone's perspective!

yeah, one of my emperors isnt eating and i dont know what to do, i put a bit of stress coat in the water, metro and aquarium salt to see if that helped at all

I assume these fish were doing well for awhile before this sudden disaster. The most common things to cause sudden deaths are air related or chemical related. If your oxygen level was borderline before the water change the lack of water movement during the water change could have depleted air further, maybe near the bottom ,where the calvus are.If you bleach plants during cleaning and don't fully neutralize it ,it could cause problems. What supplies air?Is there any possibility of chemical contamination?

the filters and an air stone supplies the air, and i doubt chemicals seeped in, but the airstone isnt too big so maybe that caused it

Most fish will show signs of oxygen deprivation, sucking air from the surface, heavy breathing and such. Did you see any of that?

did you add water conditioner? I know this is a stupid question, but sometime people forget. If this happened then the chlorine swing could of taken them and the others are just not eating. Sorry to hear about your fish. Rough loss :(
