I've been able to get my peacock on to table shrimp! So happy! I had a spare 30 I was keeping feeders in to make sure they were ok before feeding. When the last one was eaten I bought no more. Thawed out some shrimp to see what would happen and he jumped at it like it was a feeder!

Not unless you breed your own. But, non the less, Its always good to get them off of feeders.

I lost two PBass because I was not cutting them up first. Shrimp are a little more dense than a feeder of the same size and the PBass will not be able to digest them before they get backed up and die.

I feed them large shrimp because my other fish never had a problem with them. After that I just cut them up into 3-4 chunks, tail included, and haven't had the problem since. My PBass are now large enough to handle a full large shrimp but I won't take that chance again.

I thaw them in warm water, peel the shell off and cut them into chunks big enough for my lil oscars and the peacock bass.
