He is by himself in a growout until he is moved to a solo 75. He is already too mean for the community tank and growing a great little hump.

i have to agree,thats a huge hump for a 4 inch rd.nice fish.
When I had him in my 125 with tankmates his hump disappeared. When I put him back by himself it started to grow the next day.
holy crap, awesome devil...i have been in the photo lounge for five minutes now and seen three of the nicest ones I've ever seen. that guy looks awesome now, and he'll only get nicer. you have to keep posting pics as he gets older. where did you get him?
