Hey guys. Wanted to share my four setups. I'm mostly a SA cichlids guy with Crenicichla as my main passion but I've been getting into rays lately and picked up my first Fahaka not too long ago. I wanted to share my setups really quick with you.
First is a 225. It is just like a 180 only taller and is set up as a Riparium. The water temp is 83 degrees with a pH of 6.8. It has the following stock.
- 2 Marble Motoro Rays
- 3 Caquataia Myersi
- 2 Rotkiel Severums
- 1 Rainbow Wolf Fish
- 1 Vampire Pleco
Second is a 180. Water Params are identical to the 225. It is setup as an Amazonian theme with manzanita wood as the main focal point. The stock in here is:
- 9 Wild Red Discus
- 4 Pterophyllum Altum
- 2 Crenicichla Zebrina
- 2 Butterfly Plecos
- 2 Bushynose Plecos
- 1 Potamotrygon Hystrix
Next is a 150. Same water Params as the other tanks. This is a mix of manzanita wood used to create the impression of fallen branches in a river bank with some floating dwarf water lettuce to break up some of the lighting . Lace rock is used to create caves. Stock includes:
- 2 Crenicichla Johanna Anushua Red
- 1 Astronotus Ocellatus
Lastly, here is a 75 West African theme tank. Same water Params as others. Fish include:
- 1 Tetraodon Lineatus
- 1 Hemichromis 'Bangui'
- 6 Congo Tetras
- 2 Pelvicachromis Pulcher
All tanks receive weekly 50% water changes.
Thought I'd share.
