My 40 gal setup

This is my 40 gallon setup, white skirt tetras, giant danios and gold gourami are whats in the pictures. Also i have a question. Are periodic breakdowns neccesary? This tank is really dirty, so im wonderin if i should take all the fish out put them in buckets, vaccum gravel and clean plants. Should I? Thanks and i hope you like my tank.

nice tank!
do you have a gravel siphon vac? you shouldn't have to take all of the fish out and everything to clean your tank, you should just have to siphon some water out with the poo using the gravel vac. try doing 25-30% water changes weekly?

Looks fantastic. Periodic break downs are never a good idea. Vacuum the gravel, do water changes, maintain your filters and all is good.

Thanks guys so just vacum gravel ill do that more often. I would also like to ask another question what bigger ca/sa cichlids could go into a 40 gal? Thinkin bout a ca/sa cichlid tank after these fish

Ya its a flexible bubblewand bubbles are so small you cant even see them in the pics tho
