Just thought I would share my tank build. We picked up a 48'x24'x24(approx 120G) secondhand, already drilled from one of our local LFS. We were planning on using a sump as the filtration, so the tank being pre drilled was great
. It is going to be a South Amercian peaceful community, with Angelfish as the centrepiece fish. Hope you enjoy, and will you keep you updated with the progress.
The next thing to get done was the stand. We decided on 44 feet of 40x40 4mm thick galvanized square hollow steel. My partner cut and welded all the steel himself. The pics are of the stand before being painted and after
Lastly, the sump set up is 48'x14'x18 tank. We are currently running it just to build up the biological bacteria. It is filled with Jap Mat, and is running a Eheim 1262 pump.
