I think it looks good the way it is. Nice fish by the way. I think there RTC is going to have a couple pleco snacks in the future.

you need an upgrade bro

i hope those plecos are safe! i like the ripsaw. is that a goliath at the top of the tank, what is it?

that's an african pike, hepseteus odoe? my RTC does feeders and dead fish and superworms so far... he's never attempted to even sniff at a pleco! well i wouldn't trust him with anything smaller than 5 inches though hurhur. One pleco's been in there since he was introduced so he recognizes him... its just that his appetite is enormous! so the danger of him deciding to inhale his tankmates is high if i ever slack off in feeding.

yes i need a larger tank very soon. i have a pond available for the RTC when it gets too large so that's not too bad. main thing is that the tank is a hand me down, the glass is waaaaaay too thin!

I love the jardini but you must really love water changes. :)

Great viddy. Of course, I love the monster plecos but I felt a bit concerned when I saw one of them bug the RTC near the mouth. I would go with gravel, a few large rocks and another piece of wood but that's just me. Looks fine as is depending on your own preference. Thanx for sharing:thumbsup:

 The poor Plecos must live in fear. It`s strange you don`t have lots of aggression with such big fish in such a tiny tank. How long have you had them all together? How much and how often do you do water changes.

i change 25% of the water once a week. i feed every other day and its kinda easy since the plecos, the niger cat, clown knife and the mystus wickii eat pellets, which the rest ignore. My RTC has no interest whatsoever in plecos, strangely. He'd swallow a crayfish whole, shell and all but not plecos. weird huh. Feeder fish for the rest and SW for the greenie, about to start feeding MP soon.

the green's been in there the longest, about a year and a half. The chocolate common's been in there with him just as long. The TSN was next, got him about 6 months ago? The RTC was growing out in the sump tank beneath this tank, i transferred him once he got to a foot long, shortly after the TSN. The clown knife joined him within a month, also from the sump tank below. The niger cat and the rusty pleco are the newest, prolly about a month at most. I almost forgot, the mystus started off in this tank, hid all the time so i grew him out in tank below and he was transferred back in about 2 months back, same time i got the african pike. The aro wasn't too happy about the pike but so far so good, other than a little fin nipping. Think as long as i keep the RTC well fed i won't have to worry about anyone going missing, hurhur.
