Hope you guys like it, this was before we had the heatwave in Sydney and I lost pretty much all of those fish... Jag still alive though :)

Cant believe you have a jag in there. If that was my jag it would have ripped up the africans in no time, but well done for makin then last so long

Can anyone see the video?

I'm having trouble posting vids from youtube up, can someone tell me how?

This is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlQeGDjDogw

Thanks in advance...

1. To post youtube link just put the part after the = sign in your YouTube link in the YT tag. So, for you it'll be {YT}jlQeGDjDogw{/YT}.. Just use these [] instead of {}.
[YT]jlQeGDjDogw[/YT]

2. The probability of a Jag working with those Malawi cichlids is very very low. I am really surprised. While I hope it continues to work, I would suggest moving the Jag out of there as he is bound to grow much larger and angrier over time.

Good luck,
Sid

agreed with dave, how do you keep the jag alive? that was the first thing i noticed however your fish are gorgeous!

Do you mean diet wise?

I feed it the same food as the Africans and about 3 times a week i'll feed it some massivore individually, also the odd frozen shrimp here and there.

I put the Jag in there when it was pretty small, about 2 in. It took a bashing but hid in the rocks and came out to eat. As it got larger it started cruising the tank, eating, then going back into the rocks for cover. Finally it just stayed out in the open and it doesn't bother anyone if they don't bother her...

Here's an updated Vid. As you can see most of my Africans died due to the heatwave we had in Sydney. Lost about 12 fish :(

I don't think you can see them, but there are demasonii fry in the rocks which the Jag doesn't try to eat. The fry were born in the tank but the parents died in the heatwave. It's really cool to watch, they are like a little rock gang haha.

It's very hard to add any new fish to the tank as the Jag see's it as food and pretty much eats them straight away.
