My 5.5" BP

My 5.5" male BP. He is bonded with a 6" female in my 90G. No color adjustments/enhancements were made to this photo (this is his real coloration). One of the smartest and most interactive fish I've ever kept (20+ years in the hobby). He feeds right out of my hand and will follow me wherever I go in my office. The pair live in harmony with a 8" male JD, BNP and 5 Turquoise Rainbowfish.

Thanks guys! He's about 2 years old, 2" thick, and still growing day by day. Eats anything/everything that makes contact with the water......lol. If counting his fins, he's closer to 6-6.5", but body only he's more like 5-5.5". His mate is actualy an inch or so larger, but her color isn't quite as rich. I use pretty bright lighting, so his color gets lighter throughout the day. His red/orange is most intense in the morning just before turning the lights on.

Beautiful! I love the way his colors vary from yellow to orange to white. Very beautiful BP!

Looking great, I have big old male BP and hes my favorite fish. They truly are great fish to keep.
