so i tried to put my 5" in my black arow tank..
150 gal, 3 15" black arows...just after a few minutes, he started swimming
towards the arows and tries to chase them.:WHOA:

but when he's in his 60 gal, he doesnt do it with the dats(when i still had the dats with him) or the orino(smaller then him).

is that a sign that it wont cohab with my arows?:(

oh, btw, he's back in his 60 gal now.. thanks!

I would go ahead and put the pacu back in the aro tank while its small. And give it a month to see if it calms down.
At 5" the damage it causes will be alot smaller than if you wait.

hybrid, sorry. its my armatus. forgot to type it in.

Leave them together. I highly doubt a 5 inch Armatus is going to kill a 15in Aro.

Mine are fine with a 7-8in Silver.......

How many fish have you been keeping with your Armatus?

yeah that's what i thought too!
but there are 3 black arows and im scared, they might swallow my armatus.

he's in a 60 gal right now with a 3" cichla orino. i plan on housing them together with the arows i a big tank. possibly atleast 300 gals. im just waiting for the armatus to get big enough not to be swallowed by the arows.

remember what happened to vamptrevs silver aro?
then again,it was a bigger armatus.
armatus have the weapons and can use them if they want.

i think they'll be fine together. biggest danger is prob an arrow accidentally scaring the armatus into bashing it's own face in.
