He's gonna be a lone ranger. I want to grow this guy up big and I don't wanna risk him or any tank mates being cannibalized.

He's not eating yet. But, thanks for the tip on CL, I ended up getting the tank I talked to you about.

Hmmm? I don't believe he's got ammonia burn because as I'm looking at him right now, he's swimming around rather actively. When I had taken the pic, I later realized that I left the heater unplugged after a wc. Now with the heater on and a powerhead, seems happy. I'm trying to train him to eat market prawn whereas the the lfs who had him before me was feeding him live goldfish. But, I am open to hearing why you believe he might have ammonia burn. I really want to make sure he will do fine in my tank.

Very nice! I want one. I am interested to know how these fish are solo. That is cool that he is active so far. Keep us updated on his progress. Where did you get him?

I got him from 3F Pets. Last Thursday. Angler, pm me and I'll let you know of someone who's selling theirs.

Currently it is in a 40 breeder with plans of putting in my 120g as it gets bigger.
