I just have a Whisper 60 power filter which came with the tank and a smaller filter I had that is rated for 30 gallons. I do loads of water changes cause of the pleco, it poops like omg I have no clue what poops as much as it does. But for the most part I think the hundreds of snails in the tank clean it up pretty good and I have a Chinese Algae Eater that I put in there about once a month for 3 days and it pretty much wipes out any algae, and thats pretty much it.
