Hi, I'm new to this forum and I would like to show you my 55g angelfish aquarium. The fish are doing great so far...:) and this being a 7 month setup aquarium with sevral changes of it's appearance over the course of that span and me not planning to change it alot anymore makes to where the fish should acclimate much better... I hope :(. The fish/ invertabrates include: x10 Ghost shrimp(four, hopefully with eggs):woot:,x5 assasin snails(boring to watch but very effective), x4 otos (also very effective) and my main show fish, which I have nine of, the angelfish. (Strains include: x1 gold, x 1 marbled pearlscale, x 1 marbled smokey, x1 marbled, x1 koi, x1 blue blushing, and x1 blushing, all of which have great personalities and are always wanting food!) P.S. I made this post and fish tank all by myself and you know what, I'm 10 years old! No joke!!!:WHOA:

the tank is sweet but the best thing ever would if you got some altum angels and put in there that would be badA$$ would look like a little piece of the amazon LOL

Thanks for the comment. I dont have room for anything bigger than a 55g and I heard that altum angels need at least a 125g tank with 10g per fish to thrive, and even if I put them in this 55g I couldn't add anymore fish because of how much room they would take up.

You shouldnt need co2, you have it stocked pretty good with plenty of fish.. That should produce natural co2,just dont over clean the gravel..
Nice planted tank!!!

Welcome to MFK. CO2 isn't necessary with the plant types you have. Head over to the planted forum and read up on some of the stickies.
