A good start for your kigomas, but they will eventually need a larger setup. Great choice of fish and good to see you doing your research with them. They're somewhat slow growers, so you'll have time...

I dont know if its the angle but it just looks bigger to me O__o Anywho nice set-up I actually like the rock work a lot. If you dont mind me asking, was the rock expensive and where did you get it? I looked at a few stores here once but they didnt have any. I like the randsom tree branches. Yeah I know you know you'll need a bigger tank so just make sure you keep an eye on how big they are growing. They will be good for a while but then its like one day you look at them and are like wow they got big, at least that's how it is for me. I see you picked up 2 more, very cool (you had 4 orginally right?). Anyways if you have any questions or anything just let me know. As for them not coming out b/c of the light no worries just give them a lot of time and they will get used to it. I had the same problem and mind still bolt when the lights come on, but are getting used to coming out with it on.

I like the setup. Fronts tend to be skittish anyway, so don't worry about that.

I need to get some shots of my 55gal that i use for acclimation and time outs. I just put a bunch of rock in it that I scored from a local landscaping company. It's mountain river rock and it cost me $.25/lb so I got 50lbs for about $15. I was pleased. I couldn't even get a pebble of THR for $15.

I actually like the rock work, which is unusual as i usually dislike tanks with big smooth stones but you pulled it off. Have you thought of rearranging the branches a bit? I think they may look better closer together.

looks nice but i would get rid of the sharp sticks, asking for eye injuries

if you want to see them more==>less rocks :D
heres my tank

thanks everybody still a work in progress. ash thanks for all the advice im sure ill have more questions in the future ggod knowing i can ask you, also i live in hawaii and got the rocks from a riverbed. i took extra precautions because i didnt want to get any diseases in my tank, might be overkill but i soaked the river rocks in chlorine for about 2 days then soaked them in fresh water for about 3 days then baked them in the oven then put them in the tank long process haha but worth it considering the rocks were free. and yes i had 4 and bought 2 more they are doing pretty good so far.

Oh wow, yeah dont have rocks like that around here lol. Thats pretty cool that you were able to do that though. I think you'll like having the extra 2 fronts =]
