I found a 5 in red tail barricuda yesterday at a LFS and thought it would go well w/ my cichla grow outs in my 230. I was WRONG! Even though it was bigger than my baby mono and kelberi, it didnt last an hour. I almost wonder if the silvery shimmering coloration was too much of a trigger. The bass never attacks the smaller cichla, but I took my kelberi out just in case and threw him in w/ my guyanna occelris grow outs for now. Here are some pics of the digestion....
