Well I've never really posted many pics of any of Cichla and I've gone through many grow outs with out sharing, so I think it's time. I bought 6 Rio Yucao's from Rapps on June 1st. They have grown from 1" to 3.5-4". Here are some pics from the day I received them and then last weekend. I also will be posting some off my big boys shortly.

nice!! i just bought a couple of them around a week ago! hopefully they will grow fast like yours, what have you been feeding them?

Started on frozen blood worms, and they moved over to Hikari carni sticks in a week, they took the least amount of pellet training of any of my cichla. The really just did it on their own.

Holy cow they were super tiny when you got them. Keep the updates coming. I love to see progressions.

Yea mine are on blood worms right now as well. They almost eat pellets, they hit them but then spit them out right away. Think the pellets i have are just a hair too big. Give em another week or so and hopefully will be eating the pellets. Urs look good!

Great looking orinos, I too bought some from rapps and they eat hikari carni stick crumbles (I crumble them up) I also feed them bloodworms only after they have eaten the crumbles and are also growing fast.

WOW!! Looking awesome! I'm working with a 6-pack also :) My first ever peacock bass, yours look GREAT super chunky! I've only had mine for 5-days going to post up some pics on the other thread I started tommorow.

A little update. All six are doing great: they are from 4.5"-6". Showing great colors, the runt having some of the best:screwy:.
