hi all
Its finally here.have been planning plotting for this tank for 3 years.after a lot of convincing (my parents my wife and my wallet!) i finally took the plunge and started work on it on my birthday :-)
Tank 7 21 21
Filteration 3 x 2217 (at the moment only 1 running)
Decor fine white sand,rocks,wood common amazon plants.will add some annubias.
Heater Jager 200w set at 28 deg
Fish.will have the following after a few weeks.12 adult blue diamond discus,30 cardinals and 30 rummy nose.maybe some red cherry shrimp
please let me know your comments suggestions and criticisms!
ps-would really like to thank my wife as i was out most of the time and she was the one who took care and overlooked everything from the carpenters,tank guys and electrician!

Beautiful man! Huge!


But a 200wt heater aint gnna cut it when it cools off and it may eventually malfunction cuz its intended for a 55gal max. Also get those other cans running!!

That looks amazing. +1 on the heater issue though
If Discus is what you're into then the stock sounds great.
Post pictures with the stock :)
Get a variety of shrimp in there if you're gonna add shrimp!
 
sweet tank awesome job on the aquascaping!
I would double up on the filtration if you already have the 2217 "BIG FAN OF THEM" and i would go with 2-300 watt heaters and have 1 set on 84 and the other on 82. I like to have a back up if one fails.
stock list is nice my only concern would be with is the black back ground it may dull out the colors on the BD's i haven't seen it done with them but with pigeon base you get a lot of peppering.
