This is my set up lemme know if u like or any suggestions

First post smaller pics next time please, maybe around 400-600 pixels across,
for you tank though, hmmm,
a background, I dont like the aquatic picture type or paint so I usually use wrinkled tinfoil or metellic christmas wrap, it will hide the wires, filter and wall while giving an illusion of texture anda different ambieance to the reflected light. Then I would put in some plants, tall at either side and smaller in the middle back, with maybe some pygmy plants in the foreground at the edges of the center rock.
I woujd probably scatter a few interesting 2-3" rocks around as well, I almost always do.
2 more balas 3-4 clown loachs at 3-4" eachfor a splash of color. and then think about it for a couple weeks.
I use cheap hardy plants like vals, sagittaria, and elodea.

Yes I would definately say start wth a background. I like the Plain Blue or black ones you can get at any pet store. Just my preference.

I like tha blue or black backgrounds my self. also you might want to put in somthing your knife can use as a cave or maybe some more wood.

I actually like what you've got going on now. Get yourself some black background and maybe a few tall plants and you'll be set.

Looks nice, background is a must though. I taped mine on before I set my tank up. But Ive heard you can use clear Silicone, if you dont want any water to get in between it an the back glass. I havent tried it yet though, but the choice of a background is a personal Preferance.
