Jack Dempsey, 2 green severums, 1 gold severum and one royal pleco. Feel free to check it out, please excuse the camera, don't really have a better one right now, this one is my old xbox vision camera. Its small but if you zoom your browser window you can get a better look.

That's awesome, I like the idea and the tank!

Thanks. The program is free but you can only use one camera online. I do it so I have something to watch while at work. Its called webcamxp for those who want to do it as well.

Just redesigned the tank. Replaced the substrate with pea gravel and medium river rock mixed. Used to have pool sand but was a pain to keep clean. Got the driftwood from local river and made the rock formation with plain old slate tile from home depot. Plants are fake but been toying around with live plants in a smaller tank. Thinking about making the change on this one.

That'd be sweet if u could watch it from ur phone too. U have to use a webcam and stream I assume?

I do watch from my phone, just have to have internet. The frame rate on a 3G connection is a bit low but works fine. You do need to have a camera and setup some port forwarding but portforward.com has step by step instructions.

I have used my laptops camera to get a bigger view but after it running for 8+ hours the laptop was starting to overheat some. I used my old xbox live vision camera. Don't have the money for a better one right now. Problem with the xbox camera is that the program won't let you change the resolution. This is stuck on 160x180, hence why its so small. But the added benefit is less information to transmit and a really good framerate. When you go up in resolution the frame rate can chug. Got a coworker that has a 260 gal saltwater reef with a 1080p camera on it and he only gets 6 fps if he's lucky.

Bump for those who want to get a look, cause when I get home in about 20 mins I will be turning it off for the night. Feel free to save the IP and check it out during the week, I usually have it running 5 days a week.

doesnt load for me.... :(
