My 75G Hex Tanganiyka Tank

Hey all, I recently got this 75G set up for Tangs!! I had it cycling for about a month, and yesterday, my Calvus and Comps showed up!

I got 5 F1 Black Congo White Pearl Calvus and 5 Orange Fin Compressiceps.
They are absolutely stunning and can't wait to breed em.

thanks a lot guys! I was really only interested in the Calvus, but the breeder I went through talked me into getting 5 comps as well. They seem to be excellent tank mates!!

I kinda feel like the left side is a little bare, i may try to plant some long spirilia along the filter wall to help it out.

To add a little action to the upper portion of the tank a breeding group of 6 Cyp. Lemptsoma would get along good in there. Set up looks awesome though love the altolamps. they're painfully slow growing though. I've had mine for three months and can hardly tell they've grown. Feedong them lots of frozen feed too.

Thanks kdog. I will definitely look into the Cyps. The top portion is pretty inactive...
I think it will help once I get enough spirilia along the back. Hopefully it will grow tall and fill out the top.

I don't mind the slow growing at all. Mine are about a year old, but in the last month, I can tell a big difference. I feed pellets and flake.
