My 8,5" Pulcher

Finally, after weeks and weeks of waiting, i got my first Datnioides pulcher.
My bro loubard picked it up at the seller and after i visited him and his beauty tanks i brought the baby home.
He about 8,5" and a stunner. Stripes over the gills arent perfect but that doesnt matter to me. Hes in the tank for 1 day now and already quite curious and hungry!! He follows me and when i dropped the first handfull of worms he chased away the eels and ate them all! Lets hope that will make him grow.

thanks. he indeed does fill up a gap with all the other bottom fish. imo he really complets the tank.

Gosh this whole Indo vs. wide bar has gotten me confused as you can see in my thread over in the "other monsters" forum. Now with some fish I can 100% see that its and indo or pulcher but a fish like yours or mine Im not quite sure as that looks like an Indo to me!

Here is my Indo...at least what most people are IDing it as!



One thing is certain though...we have some beautiful fish!!

I dunno JD....cause yours sure looks like a pulcher to me; well I'll say this if yours is an indo then I guess mine are too

Very nice H.!! Looks great in your tank! Nice pics too! Good to hear he already ate! Mine just ate about 7 1 cm cubes of fish (kabeljauw).
