He loves Omega One Tropical Flakes. Its funny because he'll spring at the flakes like its live food.

Besides the flakes, he eats superworms, crickets, salad shrimp, market shrimp, freeze dried brine shrimp, and krill. Even if I starve him (I hate to do it), he refuses to eat pellets or sticks.

Interesting, i have the same problem with my GT, ive been pellet training him for a while now but his favorite food is omega one flakes, he just accepted the first omega one pellet today. You just have to be persistant, mine barely aet anything for weeks but is now coming along, just have to be more stubborn than the fish.

Its pretty much me. I'll starve him for a few days, then I feel sorry and punk out and give him superworms or shrimp.

Just be persistent eventually he will he the pellets, he is big enough to go without food for a few days if he so chooses.

BTW, I have a 28" black aro that eats flakes.
