Well here is a little update on my reef-Decided to move it from my 33 gal long setup to the current 90 gal-

Since the pics a huge watchman goby,
4 turbo snails of decent size,
3 emerald crabs-2 green 1-black
3 blue/green chromis,
3 hermits
And some weird purple fish have been added to the tank...But anyhow here is what it looks like....I will get some new pics later today...

What coral do you have in there? What lighting? It looks like you have some high light demanding species there.

I will get all the names of the corals(or macro pics of them all) today and post them either later tonight or in the morning (my time for ya)-When I first set this up-I wasn't so interested in it and just started buying stuff and did not pay attention to names of things-Since someone else was maintaining it-I didn't feel the need-Although I feel damn ignorant now a days.....But want to learn all about this stuff and have a basic idea of what I do have in there-Just dont know them all-So I will get that info you-

As far as lighting goes-Nothing special their right now-
Just a nova extreme with 4-54 watt T5-Ho's and AGA basic light strip that has three 24 watts bulbs in it-
(will be stepping up to a 700 watt or better outer orbits setup) unless you recommend something a bit different before I spend the money on that lighting.....

But I will look through my books and get the names of everything for ya......

Thanks for takeing alook....

You actually do have a nice collection of corals--don't be embarassed!

The ones in the 1st pic are non-photosynthetic sun corals & must be fed.
The 2nd one is an open brain & also likes to be fed meaty foods.
3rd is also a type of brain but prefers high light.
5 & 6 are nice zoanthid colonies, low maintence.
Not sure what 7 is.
8 are snake polyps, actually a type of zoanthid (Whatch them at night, when they open--really cool).
Not sure about 9.
10 are green star polyps, low maintence.

I suggest getting at least 6 T5 bulbs across your tank--that's all I have. Get rid of the rest. How old are the bulbs?

#6 is suppose to be a big colony of xenia
The one above the star polyps is suppose to be some kind of plate coral according to my LFS-

Just T5's huh-No halides-
I basically want to get to a stage in this like your tank in the long run....So whatever I'm going to need I will get-I know you said thats all you have-Just want to make sure I wont need more down the road or something....
I do have a few more corals that I will be posting pics of once I get them....But from what I have been told is that they are also a low maitnence....

The first guy-(sun coral) has been getting zoo plan along with the open brain-
Should I be feeding the open brain something a bit different.....I heard ya say meaty-But what do they prefer and how big of pieces....

Really appreciate this help...
