My 90 going process.

My 90 is going up as we speak figured id post it as I go.
First off is the 90 g stand and light I pick up for 80 bucks off craigslist.

I reinforced the stand a bit cleaned it and then moved it in and filled it with all purpose gravel 2.37 for a 50 pound bag only used 1 bag but bought 2 and put a fading blue to black backround.

I'm arranging the rocks and 3 peices of drift right now will have picks when I'm done stay tuned!

Here's the drift wood setup just decided to use 2 pieces and no rock work for now.

I had a third large peice that I had been soaking for a while but when I took it out it smelled really bad never had this happen before any suggestions?

Stock will be just this guy to start.

And then hopefully a mate after that it will depend on what grows fast enough in my grow out probably the blue acra and parrot first then then maybe my satan geo. But will see there still sub 4 inches.

Oops loaded those pictures twice. Sorry about that I'm going to start setting up the filters and hoods now I have 1 emp 400 and 1 ac 110 I'm going to put in used filter media in the 400 and I also got a "dirty bomb" from my lfs that I'm going to poor into the gravel before I start filling. I also have a safe start bacteria ao hopfully I cycle fast. Pics to follow.

Well the fill and set up went pretty horribly and I have no pictures to show. 1 the emporer 400 wouldn't work at all I primed it took the thing apart and found the propeller wasn't attacheted correctly I reattached it primed it again and it worked but makes a horrible sound will have to take a look at it again tommarow. 2 the drift wood floated even though I was told it would sink it did not no big deal I just placed some rocks on it. 3 the damn middle bar snapped after I had it filled sending my lights and tops into the tank everything still works but I'm not sure what to do as I've never had this happen before I'm assuming its because the tank was bowing I'm going to buy some silicone and just readhere it but I don't think it will be much in terms of tank support just something to hold the lights and full hoods. Anyways have some feeder guppies I bred in there now, I used old media in the 400 and did the bomb I also used a quick cycle product so I should be almost instant cycled I'm still going to wait until Saturday before I put any expensive fish in there.

Update the tank is basicly in shambles I decided to drain half the tank and resilicone the center beam. I kept the ac 110 running so the water and media didn't go bad. I think it will work. The emporer 400 does not work at all any more I have the media ina 5 g bucket running with a foam filter until I figure out what the hell is going on. Here's a pick of the mayhem.

My wife is pleased to say the least.

The only good thing about all this is the rotkeil hasn't killed anything in the 60 yet although he spits out everything he eats I will try blood worms tomarrow.

Figured id do another update the tank is still looking horrible I did some water tasting just for ****s and it looks like its in the second stage but the water is starting to smell bad the new silcone that I've redone looks ok but still no progress on the emporer 400. Tank will get filled tommarow will try th3 400 again and then test water. Wish me luck.

Havnt updated in a while so here it is the tank got filled last week here's a pick

That was the first shot with fish in it and the wood still wasn't sinking but ill post another shot later today after my water change and the final stock thanks for checking it out.
