Any suggestions ?? LMK what you think!;)

Seems a bit light on rock for an african tank IMO. Other than that it looks like a really good start to a nice tank.

haha yea. i might grab somemore rocks from the backyard pond. maybe more wood instead of more rocks. im still deciding

lol sorry about that I was answering another thread and it somehow ended up on here...

Rare fish are usually rare for a reason and they almost NEVER make good starter fish. however bay snooks are fairly uncommon and easy to care for.

Well ive been in this whole fish scene for 4-5 years now. I just started getting Serious about it. I started with that 55 gal went to a 60 gal then back to my original 55 gal after I moved because I hated not having any fish to look at.

does anyone in SAN DIEGO know of any good fish stores? Or perhaps Fish stores in California specializing in cichlids?

My wife and I are in Socal and we've hit quite a few of the better ones...unfortunatly she's at work at the moment and has all of the links and addresses.

More rocks definately. Driftwood will just lower the ph and create blackwater which isn't native to the lakes. Try some Flag Stone looks really nice in African tanks IMO. Just being honest I don't like the blue gravel. That tank would of been alot better with White sand. Your little front is cool.
