My 13'' Aimara has scrape marks in alot of different places and, I was wondering should I melafix him or just add some aquarium salt to try and heal him up. I actually got him like this so I wasn't sure if it even would grow back, hopefully someone with experience with these guys can help thanks:D

Adding some aquarium salt couldnt hurt, it says right on the box helps heal skin wounds.

Sounds good. I can wait 4-5 days no problem first. I tell you what he eats like a champ. I have several different sizes of Dovii from 1"-4"s and he downed a 4"er fast. Man I love wolfs. All I need now is a red wolf and my wolf pack is complete

Damn, that is awesome. What's your favourite wolf in your collection if you had to choose one?
Please make a pic-heavy thread on your wolves, that's something I would love to see.
I am also dying to hear which ones were the most active and/or interactive, or any of interesting unique traits in different species.

I've had curupira and both ery's so far. I really want to own an aimara this year but I want to make sure that I am not shoving the fish in an "ok" sized-tank that he can't really thrive in. I think the 180G would be too small even in the mid-run and a bigger one might become an obstruction.

My favorite wolf is my gold wolf. He is like a cichlid with personality, always begging for food and is a beast when he attacks. I have a 12" xingu wolf, 9" gold wolf, 13" Aimara Amapa, 6" lacerdae from uraguay. I had a red wolf a couple years back but he died from jumping out. Luckily all my wolves are active. I didn't want a mala because Everytime I had them they rarely moved. You can get a Aimara and put him in a 180 until he gets bigger, that is actually a pretty good size tank for him. I have mine in a 265 gal at the moment, so he has plenty of space. I will post my wolf pack, when I get my USB cord from my cousins house this week.
