Here are some pics of my aimara. I was told he came from Wes (Rare Fish). When the light are on he is docile and lays in my bichir pile, but when the lights are off he singles out a fish, and by morning the fish is riddled with a bunch of circular bite marks, all in a row as if shot by an machine gun.GEDC0301.JPGGEDC0299.JPGGEDC0298.JPGGEDC0219.JPG

Details!!!!!

Which variant? VZ? How big is the fish? How big is the tank? What are the tank mates?

where are the bite marks? Might be done by the pbass. You're pretty daring for putting your aimara with bichirs.

Does he have a nice place to call his own? A pile of driftwood or something of that nature where he always hangs out?

There was a while there where mine seemed pretty grumpy..... A significant change in attitude happened when he got more room and a place he could call his home.

I've been told by some of the guys across seas that a hideout or lair is an absolute necessity for keeping Aimara happy......

You should be happy to have a healthy and rambunctious Aimara!

Sorry for the plain "nice fish" comment, couldn't help it.

He will, if he keeps killing when the lights are off. And he does have a favorite spot inside the branches of some driftwood. Next fish with bite marks is an 11 inch upside down catfish, pictures will follow.
