My albino polypterus senegal has a torn fin can it heal?

Hi, this is my first post. 2 of my polypterus has torn pectoral fin. My albino one has a minor rip/ragged edges on both of his pectoral fins. Can it heal, remedies? Also, I have a non albino senegal bichir with a one pectoral fin that is wieredly folded (got it that way) and the oth pectoral fin is ripped of one third. I believe their is no way the fin will heal now!!!! I have never seen my juvinils polypterus fight. They seem like peaceful little friends LOL! I'm pretty sure it either the power filter or the gravel (I removed it) that is causing the injuries. So far I have been treating the injuries with salt for 2 week but it seems to do nothing.

Torn and ripped fins will heal in time. If it's been damaged down to the base though, it may not grow back. Salt will do nothing for an injury. Feed them well, do plenty of water changes, and the fins should heal as long as they aren't getting redamaged.

Just do the regular if the base isn't damage. You don't require salt or medication unless complication such as infection occurs

- Seperate it from the one you suspected to have cause the damage in the first place
- Feed it a variety of healthy protein-rich diet
- Keep the lights off as much as possible so that you won't startle it
- Ensure water quality is MINT

Just do those steps and its would grow back
