My alligator gar, 19" TL

Here is a fish I have wanted for a couple of years and finally gave in and picked this one up. It is currently in a 4'x3'x2' poly trough.

Thanks guys, this will probably be a solitary fish. My 15" spotted gars and 12" shornose are way too small. Kind of sucks but oh well, I knew that going into this purchase.

Currently I am giving daily feeding of silversides and loachs from an excellent Vietnamese grocery store. Once it hits 2 ft I will cut feeding down to slow growth.

woah that thing is gonna be MASSIVE. We have loads of them in the LFS' here would love to have one but thats a serious monster fish.
