I like ancient fish so I keep some gars in one tank and keep a lot of stingrays for breeding in 2 big tank like the attached photos.
My alligator gars' tank and rays' tank!!!!!

Very nice! I really miss mine... Have you tried ever letting the gar jump for food? What I did was I used tongs (don't use ur hand or you have one) and hold a live cray fish above the water and he'd lytrilly come up like a shark attacks a seal and take him. Don't expect it to be like a fully body jump. Its like only 5-6" out of the water LOL

I've 13 gars in my 2500 gl. tank the small is about 120 cm. and the biggest one is 140 cm.
