My angelfish spawned, what to do now?

Congratulations! Now's the time to look for a microworm culture, and familiarize yourself with brine shrimp hatcheries (the 2L soda bottle kind)!

I suggest leaving everything to the parent fish and let them gain experience. The eggs if fertile will hatch in about 48 hrs. The fry will be in the wriggler stage and have a egg sac. After the egg sac has been absorbed the fry will become free swimming and begin to look for food. I believe like Discus the fry will feed off the parents mucus on the parents body but you could crush up finely pellet or flake what the parents eat. Newly hatched brine shrimp is excellent for most fry.

Alternatively you can buy liquify for egg layers, or use boiled egg yolk crushed in water. But I agree with Thomas that it’s good to give the parents the experience. However, do not be surprised if they eat the Eggs or the newborn Fry at the first sign of danger, or even just at a whim, if they are young parents as this is common until they gain that experience.
